How to make the Lab Requisition Report always print to a different printer drawer?
1. Navigate to your Windows File Explorer and look for the Folder called "Reli Med Solutions"
2. Go into this File folder by double-clicking and then find the "emr client" folder
3. Go into this File folder by double-clicking and then find the "MySettings" folder
4. Go into this File folder by double-clicking and in this folder you will add a new text file called "print.tray.settings.txt"
This file just needs one line in it to direct the proper lab req report version to the proper printer tray. Add this line and save the file.
**This file will need to be placed in this directory of every computer that prints the lab form and needs to be directed to this other drawer.
Below is an example of the one line to add to the file if you have Lab Corp as your lab and selecting Printer tray 2:
xrLabCorpRequisition:Tray 2

The file has the following format :
<Report Name>:<Paper Source Name>:<Printer Name>
<Report Name>
(Required) Must be one of the following values -
xrAllOtherRequisition
xrLabCorpRequisition
xrQuestRequisition
xrSolstasRequisition
<Paper Source Name>
(Optional) The name of the printer's paper source. If not supplied,
the default paper source will be used. These are usually listed in the printer's properties under Preferences.
Example : Tray 1
<Printer Name>
(Optional) The name of the printer that is to be used. If not supplied, the default printer will be used.
This is the naem of the printer as it appears EXACTLY within the printer's properties.
Example : Brother HL-L2395DW series Printer
The file can contain multiple entries (one entry per <Report Name>), each on a separate line.
Here are a few example entries :
xrLabCorpRequisition::
- This will print the xrLabCorpRequisition report to the default printer, using the default paper source.
xrLabCorpRequisition:Tray 1:
- This will print the xrLabCorpRequisition report to the default printer, using the paper source Tray 1.
xrLabCorpRequisition::Lab Printer
- This will print the xrLabCorpRequisition report to the printer named "Lab Printer", using the default paper source.
xrLabCorpRequisition:Tray 2:Lab Printer
- This will print the xrLabCorpRequisition report to the printer named "Lab Printer", using the paper source Tray 2.
