While checking a patient in, we can make Room Selection Mandatory. To do this, go to Admin -> Locations-> Preferences tab
Check the Make Room Selector Mandatory.
This will force the front desk that is checking in the patient select a Room. If you dont have this preference set, you can wont be forced to select a room. You can always do a right-click on the appointment and select Room Selector option.
You can customize the room names by going to Admin -> List Entry -> Room Selector
On Dashboard Todays Appointments screen, you will see a room selection column and change the room or select a room from there as well.
For non providers to view the Todays Appointments screen on the Dashboard, the Role should be set up as Non-provider Caregiver. this can be done under Admin -> List Entry -> Personnel Roles.
