Can Patients See their Statements/Bills Online?

Yes, new with Release 7.3.5, Patients can now view all generated Patient Statements in their patient portal.  

 

Once they are logged in, these will be found under Patient Documents -> Billing Statement

Billing Statement is a default document type added by ReLiMed which is also automatically exposed to the patient portal.

 

The Statement list will show date of statement generation and the Document Name will include the date and the total amount owed by the patient for that generated statement. 

 

Users can click on the Magnifying Glass icon under the Actions column to pop-up a full view of the statement. 

 

If your office has signed on with our Nexio /  CMS Online payment partner, then users can also go to the "Billing Account" tab on the portal and Pay the bill online all in the same session. These payments will then automatically be recorded in the Payment Log of the EMR (RCM Clients only)
