Can EMR Send a Message to All Active Patients?
print icon

Sometimes your practice may need to send out a message to all patients or a subset of patients (i.e. seen by a certain provider, or has certain insurance) to notify them of something. Some examples:

- Practice closing outside of normal closures

- Announcing seasonal Flu Vaccines becoming available

- Provider updates

We have two options to do this:

  1. Using the Messages screen in the system, send a message to all portal account holders. Once you select New message, be sure to select hte "Patient Communications" tab. Then you will have the option to select "All Patients"

All patients with an active portal account will get an email saying there is a secure message waiting in their portal for them.

  1.  You can contact Support to request a one-time "Text Blast" to all patients. Send what you want to say, what patients you want to send to and when it should be scheduled to [email protected] and we can get that done.

NOTE: This is charged the same rate as Automated Appointment Reminders
