Whenever you have something sent to you from an Insurance company such as an EOB, denial letter, or request for more information in regards to a claim, then you need to send that to the billing team. Email is not a secure way to do this!
Instead, you can open the Payment Log from the Scheduler and then select the "EOB Uploads"
Use the "Upload documents" button and browse your computer or a shared network drive for the document which might have been faxed, downloaded from a website, or scanned into your computer.
Once saved, you can add notes if you wish. Our billing team monitors these every day, so you do not have to alert them of a new upload.
Only use EOB Uploads for Payor Payments or Correspondence, use Payment Log for Patient Payments.
