Providers List for Patients to pick to send Message from Portal

By default, all active providers in the system will show in the "To" list for a patient to pick. 

 

If a provider is not showing then following settings must be checked:

  1. The most obvious setting is the provider should be Active in the system.
  2. In Personnel Entry screen for Provider "Can Receive Messages" is unchecked. This setting stops both in-office staff and patients from sending messages to that staff member. 
  3. In Personnel Entry -> Preferences screen for the Provider "Do not  Receive Portal Message [MIPS non compliant]" is set to "Yes". This will stop the provider name from showing in portal for patients to send direct secure messages to that provider.
