Reset Password

 

In ReLiMed EMR, Reset Password for a staff member is performed by a user with admin privileges to Personnel Entry screen. This is usually performed by an office manager.

 

Navigation: Admin -> Personnel ->Personnel Entry

Privileges: Admin ->Personnel Entry -> Add/Edit privilege

 

If you forget password, ask your office manager or any user with Add/Edit privileges to Personnel Entry screen. They should do the following:

  1. Go to Personnel Entry screen
  2. Search and select the staff name
  3. Enter a new password in Password field in the top right corner
  4. This opens up Confirm Password field, they have to type the same password
  5. Make note of the password, Save the Personnel record.
  6. The password should then be shared with the staff member they edited it for.
  7. Note: If User ID is forgotten, the user ID should is also displayed in Personnel Entry screen and should be shared.

 

The staff member then should log in to the system using that new password.

  1. On first login, the system will show a message informing them that an administrator changed their password and a new one should be entered by the staff member
  2. You should type a New Password
  3. ReLiMed EMR expects  8 - 12 characters, with an uppercase, a lowercase and a number present in the password
  4. You will be asked to confirm the password
  5. And then click Login to save the new password and login to the system.
