How to Fax Referral or Encounter Summary to a Specialist documented on the Patient Chart

The steps would be:
- Enter the Specialist or other provider under Physician contacts in the patient's chart under Patient info
- From the patient chart, click on Export patient. This can also be done from Pan -> Referrals -> Export:
- Select the latest/desired encounter, etc and click on Export
- Click on Fax and then you can search while checking “Show Patient Contacts only” This will search though the patient’s Insurance companies and Referral Providers (which also include any Physician Contacts)
