Key Tips:
1. There are two ways to do this. Both are listed below.
2. Inside the Claim History the View Claim button will show you the electronic version of
what was transmitted over to your clearinghouse.
NOTE: See the Help Document that shows a Key to all the loops and segments to the electronic version (EDI) claim format
Steps:
1. From the Billing tab, go to Edit Claims
2. Pick your Practice Location
3. From the search dropdown, you can find your claim by selecting the search criteria of Patient, Payor, date range and/or claim number, click Ok
4. Click on the line with the desired claim / date of service
5. You will be defaulted to the "Claim Info" sub-tab (From the Patient Chart -> Encounters Charges screen, the "Charge Codes" sub tab will be the default and you will need to select the "Claim Info" sub tab)
6. At the bottom, the 3rd button from the right is "Status Hx"
7. Once you click that you will get a pop up with the claims status history
Steps:
1. From the Billing tab, go to Claim Search
2. Pick your Practice Location
3. Pick your Patient or enter Claim Number, click Search
4. Using the scroll bar at the bottom, go over to the right
5. Then select the "Hx" button
6. Once you click that you will get a drop down with the claims status history. You can hover your mouse over the different columns to see all information in that field.
