I am trying to transmit a medication for a patient and I get a pop-up message saying:
We are unable to locate a valid NDC for the entered medication.
You will not be able to transmit without a valid NDC.
Are you sure you want to continue?
The reason you are getting a NDC error message when trying to transmit is because it was not in the system and was free texted/put in manually.
Make sure you are searching and seeing the available options in the dropdown and then selecting one from the list.
Anything that is not on list to pick from and that is free texted will need to be printed.
