When handling date formatting within the ReLiMed EMR application, the value for Short date under the Regional format settings should be set to one of the following :

- MM/dd/yy

- MM/dd/yyyy

To check or update this value on Windows 10 computers, do the following :

1. Click Start

2. Type region and then select Region settings

3. Check the value of Short date and verify that the format is either MM/dd/yy or MM/dd/yyyy

4. If the value needs to be updated, click Change date formats

5. In the dropdown list for Short date, select the appropriate value.

6. If the value for Short date was changed, please close any running instances of the ReLiMed EMR application for the changes to take effect.

To check or update this value on Windows 11computers, do the following :

1. Click Start

2. Type region and then select Region settings

3. Under the Region heading, expand the Regional format section.

4. Check the value of Short date and verify that the format is either MM/dd/yy or MM/dd/yyyy

5. If the value needs to be updated, click Change formats

6. In the dropdown list for Short date, select the appropriate value.

7. If the value for Short date was changed, please close any running instances of the ReLiMed EMR application for the changes to take effect.
